This highly anticipated production will take the stage in the Black Box Theatre at Boston Center for the Arts from May 23rd to June 1st. Nüwa in Fairyland introduces us to Benji, a Chinese transracial adoptee, whose life takes a magical turn when he is cast as Puck in his high school’s production of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream

CHUANG Stage to Receive FY 2024 Challenge America Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts

CHUANG Stage is pleased to announce it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for a Challenge America award of $10,000. This grant will support Found in Translation, a multilingual new play series by Asian American playwrights for Boston's Chinatown.
